Honey Soy Chicken and Rice

Honey Soy Chicken and Rice is a fantastic weeknight household dinner. Chicken cooked in a sweet and sticky sauce flavored with garlic and ginger is served with rice and broccoli for a complete meal in one bowl. Forget take-out –-- this is simply as easy and much more delicious!

I feel like we went from covering Christmas presents straight to the last day of school in the blink of an eye.

And now it’& rsquo; s June and I & rsquo; m bracing myself for a summer of & ldquo; I & rsquo; m tired & rdquo; comments from my school caring, social butterfly of a 5-year-old.

We’& rsquo; re over here trying to discover the balance in between dance, karate, piano and just living our best summer season lives.

Hopefully the weather condition chooses to work together eventually considering it’& rsquo; s a tremendous 52 degrees in Ohio today. Given that summertimes can be a little disorganized around here, I’& rsquo; m trying to equip the freezer and fridge with ingredients for dishes that are incredibly easy to make and that we like.

From Chicken Picatta and Immediate Pot Pulled Pork to my favorite dish for Baked Ziti, we’& rsquo; re pretty stocked in the grocery department.

Recently I was getting my meal strategy organized and recognized that although I’& rsquo; ve been making this Honey Soy Chicken and Rice because I was pregnant with Elle, I’& rsquo; ve never shared it with you!

I’& rsquo; ve honestly made it numerous times over the past 6 years and we never ever get tired of it. I generally serve my part over caul-rice and Elle and Eric consume it over brown or white rice because they are both highly versus anything that involves cauliflower. In either case, it’& rsquo; s totally delicious and the leftovers are perfect for summertime lunches on the fly!
